MollyJolly Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use MollyJolly. If the law in your location requires permission from a parent or legal guardian, you may use the Service only with their permission.

You must provide accurate information and use an account that belongs to you.

2. About MollyJolly

MollyJolly provides a private shared space for two people. Features may include:

• Pairing with another user
• Daily questions and shared answers
• Notes and messages
• Mood entries
• Photos and memories
• Relationship dates and shared-space details
• Optional weekly scrapbook recaps
• Push notifications and reminders

Features may be changed, improved, limited, or removed over time.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and device. Do not share your password, login credentials, or private pairing code with anyone except the person you intend to connect with.

You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

4. Your shared space

Information submitted to a shared space may be visible to the person connected to that space. Only pair with someone you know and trust.

You understand that:

• Your connected partner can view content shared within the space.
• Your partner may retain information they have already seen or saved.
• Ending a relationship or deleting your account does not automatically remove content from your partner’s device or shared history.
• A shared space may remain associated with its original two members to preserve its history.
• MollyJolly is not intended for emergencies or urgent communication.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the photos, notes, answers, memories, and other content you submit.

You grant Warmodroid a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, reproduce, resize, display, and transmit your content as needed to operate and secure the Service. When both current partners separately enable AI recaps, this licence also allows us and our service providers to process selected shared text to create a private recap.

You confirm that you have the right to upload your content and that doing so does not violate another person’s rights or applicable law.

6. Optional AI weekly scrapbooks

Weekly scrapbook recaps are optional. Each current partner must separately enable AI recaps in the App before selected shared content is sent to OpenAI. Agreeing to these Terms or signing in does not enable the feature. Either partner can turn it off to stop future generation. If either partner has not enabled the feature, we do not send shared content to OpenAI for a recap.

For an eligible week, our server may select question prompts, revealed answers, saved answer moods, notes, and memory titles or text. It sends selected text to OpenAI with anonymous source and person labels. We do not add account names, email addresses, photographs, or photo URLs as separate inputs. Your own writing may contain names or other identifying details. Photos are not sent to OpenAI for recap writing.

AI-generated writing may be incomplete or inaccurate. We check source references and exact quoted excerpts before publication, but cannot independently verify every generated observation. Recaps may include short exact excerpts from answers or notes and generated commentary. They are not a complete record of everything you shared and are not professional, medical, legal, or relationship advice.

Published recaps are read-only and private to the shared space. They preserve the content as it was when published; later edits to source content do not rewrite them. Turning off AI recaps stops future generation but does not remove pages already published or undo data already sent for a completed request. Contact us if you have a concern about a published recap.

7. Photos and personal information

Only upload photos or personal information that you are comfortable sharing with your connected partner.

You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permission from people shown or identified in your content. Photos are not sent to OpenAI for recap writing. Additional information about how data is handled is available in the MollyJolly Privacy Policy.

8. Notifications

If you enable notifications, MollyJolly may send reminders, notify you about activity in your shared space, or send a generic notice when a weekly scrapbook is ready. Recap notifications do not include recap text or excerpts.

Notification delivery is not guaranteed and may be affected by your device settings, internet connection, operating system, or third-party notification services. You can change notification preferences in the App or your device settings.

9. Third-party services

MollyJolly may rely on third-party services, including Google authentication, Supabase infrastructure, Firebase Crashlytics, OpenAI for optional AI recaps, Expo notification delivery, Apple services, and Google services.

Your use of these services may also be governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for interruptions or limitations caused by third-party services outside our reasonable control.

10. Account deletion

You can request account deletion from the Settings section of the App.

After you confirm deletion:

• You will lose access to your account and be signed out.
• Notifications and unused pairing invitations associated with your account will be disabled.
• Future AI recaps will stop while the shared space no longer has two active members who have both enabled the feature.
• You may contact support if you need help restoring access.

Because MollyJolly provides a shared space, content such as memories, photos, notes, answers, published recaps, dates, and shared-space history may remain available to your connected partner. We may also retain information where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or operation of the shared space.

11. Acceptable use

You must not use MollyJolly to:

• Harass, threaten, abuse, stalk, or impersonate another person
• Upload unlawful, exploitative, hateful, or harmful content
• Upload content that violates privacy, copyright, or other legal rights
• Share intimate content without the clear consent of every person depicted
• Attempt to access another user’s account or shared space
• Distribute malware or interfere with the Service
• Reverse engineer, exploit, scrape, or misuse the App
• Use the Service for fraud or other illegal activity

We may restrict or terminate access when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or the Service, its users, or others may be at risk.

12. Service availability

We aim to keep MollyJolly available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent access.

The Service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, network problems, security concerns, or circumstances outside our control. We may modify or discontinue parts of the Service when necessary.

13. No professional advice

MollyJolly is intended to support personal connection and shared experiences. It does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, financial, relationship, or other professional advice. AI-generated scrapbook commentary may be mistaken and should not be relied on as a factual assessment of your relationship.

14. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by applicable law, MollyJolly is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be secure, accurate, available, or suitable for every purpose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

15. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Warmodroid will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, MollyJolly.

This includes loss resulting from deleted content, unavailable notifications, account misuse, partner actions, third-party services, or service interruptions.

Our liability is not limited where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

16. Suspension and termination

You may stop using MollyJolly at any time.

We may suspend or restrict access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, create a security risk, or if suspension is reasonably necessary to protect users, Warmodroid, or the Service.

Provisions that logically continue after termination—including content rights, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and retained-data provisions—will remain effective.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the App, our practices, or applicable requirements change.

The updated Terms will be published with a revised effective date. Where appropriate, we may also provide notice inside the App. Continued use after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them, where permitted by law.
